The concept for the Queen Mary 2 took shape in May 1998, and after two years of meticulous development, the construction contract was awarded to a French shipyard in November 2000. Following a period of wintering in the Caribbean, the Queen Mary 2 commenced its regular transatlantic service in April 2004. Notable features of the Queen Mary 2 model kit include a highly detailed hull adorned with numerous structures, four motor gondolas with propellers, a meticulously crafted main deck with intricate detailing, and swimming pools that can be optionally enhanced with decals.
