Silk Capes are a staple of dress-up and dramatic play. They are silky soft yet durably made from heavyweight silk. An elastic neckband and shell button make our Capes easy to put on and take off and elegantly simple for children!
- Dress-up play is the work of the child, and children benefit cognitively, physically, socially, and emotionally through this work.
- Open-ended play with dress-up costumes allows children to express their imagination and supports their independence.
- Dramatic play gives the child’s imagination free reign. Who, where, or what they can become is limitless, which allows our costume pieces to grow with the unique creative needs of each child and provides them with many years of lasting play value.
The Silk Cape is 32-inches long with an elastic band that comfortably stretches from 18 to 28-inches. Fits most children ages 3 to 8. Made with 100% heavyweight (8 momme) mulberry silk in our Rainbow colorway.

Our flat rate within the majority of Australia is $9.95 each order for standard courier or Australia Post delivery, but free for orders over $125.
Express shipping is available on most products at check-out.
Some of our larger items are bulky and heavy, and so they are excluded from the flat rate fee and free shipping. These may incur additional shipping charges based on your location. Please refer to our shipping policy or contact us for further information.
Gift wrapping is available although that may not be possible for some large items and we will let you know promptly if that is the case. Our Checkout process notifies choices during purchasing. Just let us know what message you wish it to have.
Returns
We understand you may change your mind! If your order has been dispatched, we will arrange a refund or exchange for you, as long as the products are returned:
- Unused, unopened, undamaged and in original condition and packaging
- In a saleable condition upon return
- Returned within 30 days of delivery
